Must post..

I am thankful for modern technology that allows all of my pictures to be saved in one place so I can remember a night spent making balloon animals...even a whole family of dogs and photographing them as if they were real...and laugh about it now. We may have even named them.

My favorite latest craft project...

This is real. Sam and I made this quilt for Cody to congratulate him on becoming a college grad. Doesn't this just say, "we are proud of you, you deserve this beautiful quilt??" "We picked out the best quality, prettiest fabrics for you". Well, of course it does, he loved it. We loved it just as much, if not more. Each day I debated if I should just keep it for myself. It is an amazing blanket. I think the animals starting calling to me.

I enjoyed every minute of this process... from laughing in the fabric store when we fell upon these fabrics to cutting it out, all while still laughing..to discovering that there is an image of a wolf's face hidden in the snowy mountain on the lovely fabric showcasing a family of bears, and other kind creatures of the wild, to realizing I created that awful pucker in the quilt-- to it's reveal. I really love sewing. Especially when it's with family and friends and for family and friends.

Dreaming...

I have had moments lately where I have thought "man, i REALLY want that ________________, how cool is that...that would be so cute". Too bad they are things like:
Furniture
Bedding
Decorations
Tricky Crafting Projects
Baby related items
....And I don't have a child or a home of my own to store it all in. Sometimes it's hard to say no and keep walking.

Here's what I'm thinking of right now...

So I will just keep dreaming...

2010 MEXICAN CRUISE (Part 1)

Freaking HOLLER! Check out these pictures my friends...(well, if anyone looks at this..I don't even know.)

See me over there on the right?? Hahah. This was a typical facial expression for pictures while cruising and exploring Mexico. This is on the Mazatlan beach, that is my friend Laurel.. We sat on this beach and all the Mexicans came to us, we just sat there and shopped. I bought the mask I'm wearing for my little brother there...

We hit La Paz, Mexico and did some Kayaking.. we discovered this sweet abandoned boat there..and took some provocative pictures with it...well, Cody did.

While in Cabo, we tried to catch the sacrament meeting at this building...
isn't it so cute??

This place in Mazatlan had really good chips and salsa but they are not so good at the rest of the Mexican food...how do you mess up refried beans? Well, at least it is a good memory for us, we were laughing at our attempt to make it look like we liked the food enough to eat it.

Our dinner waiters were so cute, we loved them. And we stalked them..hence the dancing video that we had to take to creep on Matt, the South African babe... haha. We are completely serious about this.

Part 2 will be coming soon. Oh how I love Mexico.

New Stuff.

-Relief Society Secretary...True story. Somehow I got picked for that job. The entire Presidency is new and of course, the President is getting married in January. Bishop mentioned something like "maybe one of you will just become President". What the??? I actually like the calling. I wasn't thinking I wouldn't but ya know...

-Officially on the hunt for a new bed. Not sure what size. I could go all the way and get a king. The possibilities are endless. And apparently RC Willey has a deal where if you spend 599 or more you get a free xbox. Hey, there's an item to add to the "you should want to marry me because I own a ..." list. Haha. My cousin and I discussed this as a joke one time when we were on our way to a party where they were raffling off 50+ inch TVs. I thought one would come in handy in the man dept.

-Already gearing up for the holidays. I've got all my gift ideas picked out except for one person. Most of it involves sewing. I'm still trying to master that skill. I still have to make 10 pairs of pajama shorts and 10 lanyards for our cruise in December.

Farmville...

You would think that all I would hear from my coworkers are questions like this around their cubicles...

"Did you calendar the hearing on the motion to withdraw?
"Did opposing counsel call on that depo?"
"Will you make me a copy of this?"

But all I hear lately is crap like this...

"I planted strawberries. I don't know why I didn't plant them earlier."
"I will get home just in time tonight to harvest my crops."
"I got Farmville on my phone now...."

It goes on and on. All day. I can't help but laugh.
